About Me

Hi, I’m Jacob Petrie, a Systems Administrator with nearly a decade of professional experience in Information Technology. My credentials include seven CompTIA certifications and one Microsoft certification. I’m also a published instructor, having developed a course on the CompTIA Cloud+ for Pluralsight.

Beyond my professional work, I contributed as a Quality Assurance Tester for the game Party Animals (you can find my name in the special thanks). Additionally, I’ve helped enhance educational resources by contributing errata to books on Security and Linux.

Outside the tech world, I’m passionate about teaching. I volunteer in children’s ministry and have conducted numerous training sessions for adults and teens, equipping them to teach and mentor children effectively.
